Choosing Canyon
While many charter organizations target locations where schools are struggling, Canyon Pointe Academy is surrounded by several
district and charter schools who also provide families with challenging academic programs. However, unlike these other schools, Canyon
provides students athletic and arts opportunities as well as activities designed to promote positive relationships and life-long memories.
History of CPA
Canyon was established by Pointe Schools in
2002 and has an enrollment of 280 students,
kindergarten through sixth grade.

Pointe Schools
Pointe Schools is one of the State's largest
Independent Public Charter School Districts
serving over 1400 students on three Northwest
Valley campuses in Phoenix and Glendale.
Jody Johnson, Pointe Schools' founder, serves
as the district's superintendent.
